What a great article. That really brought me back to days with my dad, and sent a good message about my relationship with my young sons.

Luke, I continue to be incredibly impressed with the way you tell a story. Great job.

And I agree Boomer. Stories like this will absolutely help in recruiting. I've always had a ton of respect for Coach Robe, and I've followed this program since well before he arrived, but for parents and players to read things like this, and with the on field success UL has had, choosing to be a Ragin Cajun, and to play for Robe almost seems like a no brainer.

I once read "Good Fathers Are Good Communicators"

Wow! Great article! Thanks Luke! Coach Robe is a man among men. Thanks, Coach, for being an inspiration to so many people (baseball & non-baseball alike)!

My nephew is a top notch ball player in BR... His dad is one of those who won't understand the dropping of the second L... But I digress... Nephew is hoping for a scholly from the dark side.... Even his dad knows that a&m@br is all about winning and tha maneri will drop his son in a heartbeat.... Sending this over to him but not holding out any hope.... He has dreams of his son being a great BASEBALL player... What on opportunity lost.....
