I've been watching Cajuns baseball a long time.. That one was an all timer. I don't think we're done here, but that's a loss I'll remember for a long long time.

Hope the boys can pick themselves up off the deck and bring it home. The positive guy in me says we got all of our bad breaks out in that one inning. Let's not bail on them yet..

Absolutely. I have to say though, and not picking on these guys individually, but it irks me to no end when I see an infielder take the lazy approach to the ball instead of getting his butt down and in front of the ball to make the play; likewise, I get perturbed when outfielders catch balls with one hand, especially on the "easy ones". I don't care if it's a "can of corn", hustle your arse over and secure the ball with two freakin hands. You don't get an extra out or run if it looks pretty.

We have a girls' team that's pretty decent. One of only 5 in the nation that's been to the Sweet 16 4 years in a row. A lil' early for Haack attack just yet.

Haack attack yes, but is it too early to start declaring that Broadway needs to be benched? That's the kind of irrational mood some of us are in.

There is no jace Conrad on this team. The approach of this team wouldn't of been tolerated

Today's game was as frustrating a Cajun event as I have ever followed. I know the guys hurt more than we ever will due to the sweat equity they but into the program. That is especially true for Powell and Trosclair due to ninth inning troubles. However to give the game away on 2 plays many 12 year olds make makes it extremely disappointing. If some want to use the term "inexcusable" I understand as if it was ever warranted, it is in this situation. What appears to be a lack of focus in such a critical time is especially troubling as the season may be over for all practical purposes now.

I was having flashbacks to 4-30-06 listening today. At least we didn't hand it to them back then, the opposition earned it.

Not Powell, Clement went to LF in the bottom of the 8th inning. Herrington in for Powell in CF....On the fly ball to LF that Clement overran Jay was saying game over.......so was I. I just about threw my lap top in the shredder next to my desk. I even scored it FB7 for the third out then had to hit U to undo the scoring.....

6-2 UTA over Troy in the 4th. Would much rather see Troy tomorrow. If we can get by them we can mash the crap out of these other teams' bullpens and survive this.

I thought I heard Dan McDonald say Powell on the webcast. Thanks for the correction. I am sure Clement won't sleep well tonight. He needs to get over it quick and help his team tomorrow.

He did say powell. Over and over and over again. Damn that dude needs to step down. He has done enough UL-L games this year to tell those two apart with no number on their back. Damn!

There were some player identification issues for the video broadcast.

Yesterday was an epic failure. But we can right the ship today by booting out the home team and the higher seed on our side of the bracket. The sun came up today.

Funny thing is Powell and Clement don't look remotely alike. And even from a distance you can tell the difference between a 7 and a 22 on the jersey.
