This game is excruciating to watch.

Ouch. Auburn is probably gonna hang a hunnet on us, and we'll lose by almost 30. As frustrating as the first half was, it sucked a whole lot less than the 2nd half so far.

As were the other two games this year.
I'm expecting more offensive fluidity mid January or so.

Will there ever be a day that we can compete with any school worth a ____ in basketball? And by compete I mean win. And by worth a ____ I don't mean Ga State or another Sun Belt school.

ULM just took #8 Florida to OT. Where is our older guys and their leadership? I see nothing. Long, Rimmer, Shephard should be contributing and RUNNING this offense. Instead we have Devonta Walker "walking" all over the place turning the ball over. Don't get me wrong, I like developing Stove and Washington this early but I mean we should have some older guys leading this team.

Yea, I know, I remember. I'm ready for it to happen again. I just feel like it won't.

Long doesn't look like he's progressed at all.

Final 105-80. Extremely discouraged with that 2nd half, especially defensively. Auburn probably shot over 65% in the 2nd half.

His post moves have looked horrendous. It looks like he's intentionally 'flailing about' as he forces a bad shot..... To make it appear as If he were fouled hard and not make the shot selection look so atrocious.

....but I'm on board with this Bryce Washington kid. Very poised for a freshman and agile for a big'un. Arguably most consistent play on the team first 3 games.

I think Long is pressing. He's taking his leadership role on the team very seriously and it's affecting his play right now.

Shaping up to be a tough 4 game road stretch. I think it will pay dividends in the end

Remember Long was out for a while due to bruised foot. May take a while to get back in groove. The team looks terribly disjointed right now but hopefully they will put it together.

Bob needs to find the right 5. This road trip should help with finding the right mix and then they 6th and 7th guys need to find their roles.

UL Basketball Re: UL vs AUBURN Game Thread

Mighty Auburn Tigers fall to Coastal Carolina 58-54, scoring just a little over half of what they did vs UL. Cliff Ellis continues to punish his former employer winning as coach for USA, Clemson, and now Coastal Carolina.

You would think Auburn would quit inviting Cliff Ellis back to beat them.
