I bet you didn't find Fenroy and Desormeaux boring.

I also do not think that we have played very well in ALL aspects of the game so far this season in a single game. We have played well in certain phases of the game, but haven't clicked on all cylinders just yet.
Take away Haack and Broadway for a minute and I think this is false because our receivers are not very good at getting open....Period. I don't think this is right simply because he would have less options to throw to. The protection is better and Broadway is making progressions even though some will never admit it and we still have no vertical game. This is not due to lack of arm strength, this is due to receivers that can't get open. Opposing teams are not really even having to run deep safeties as most teams have cornerbacks who can play man coverage on our guys and be effective. Not having guys like Lawson, Peoples, Surgent and Green is what is hurting us, not Broadway.

Butler had three exciting long catches, Riles had a couple and J. "Longneck" Johnson had 2 freakin touchdown catches. Eli had some nice runs and a touchdown reception. That's more exciting than a weekend of 1-0 FIFA matches. UL has won 33 games in this Hudspeth era offense from 2011 to present. The Cajun's best receiver is out, so they are finding a way. Butler sure looked open all night. I guess that was the first time all season he has gotten open.

Devin Scott has been open downfield almost every route. TB hasn't been able to hit him in stride yet this season.

We also saw that McGuire is much more dynamic when he has Harris to pound the middle of the defense.

The passing game struggled, to say the least. It's not just TB, and it's not just one receiver or one Offensive Lineman, it's the whole thing. They are just not putting all the pieces together, one piece fails and the play fails. Our passing game needs work.

I never attack players I love those guys like I love McGuire and Broadway. I love good plays and players I'm just stating my preferred style of offense.

    I'm living in the now-
    This team is under development-
Who cares what offense you prefer to watch-
Become a fan of Texas Tech or Washington State-They suck, and pass 70X a game.

Butler was open because they changed up his routes, or it appears to me. He ran more crossing routes all night rather than the 10 and sit. To me, it appears that Broadway is going through his progressions, no?
