Seems like Lafayette is really building momentum in these tech jobs. High pay and not reliant on our strengths of energy or medical means a much stronger local economy and lots of growth.

Ah, Bobby J. understands marketing. Other than our ULS little brothers (as defined by enrollment) and the LSU silkscreen alumni we're good to go. Business is business.

That Piece-O-Sh-t governor! I use to think, well at least we will never have another Edwin, but now I realize that there are worse things in the world. And, if I know Republicans, they will have him running for president. Just so you know, that statement does not make me a Democrat. I am a GDI! Jindal is a huge joke!

I met Ernie Ladd one time and when I shook his hand I said "Dusty Rhodes's head is like a tomato, punch it one time and it bust open" Ernie loved it and was a great man to be around. Interesting story he went to Grambling on a basketball scholarship and was not getting enough food so Ed Robinson said something like "come play football and you can have all the food you can eat."

Edwin Edwards is running for the 6th Congressional District (Baton Rouge area). I had a home phone message two days ago. Edwin's big campaign push is to build an I-10 overpass or tunnel in Baton Rouge and a push for federal funding. I do agree the overpass/tunnel is needed. But...

In other news, Ruston's economy is also booming with the addition of a large nationally recognized corporation. That's right, Whataburger just opened up off I-20.
