Where in the blue hell did they find that crew that worked the game last night?

I thought if you were offsides on a kickoff, you either accepted the penalty and kicked over 5 yards back, or decline the penalty and take the play. I've never seen 5 yards added to the end of the run. Did something change here??

BRUTAL! How do you miss the unsportsmanlike facemask inside the five that the MT player had on Fenroy. I just don't really know how you miss that. Aren't you looking at the RB as he's running the ball??

I think that even incidental is 15 yards now-----How about the offensive holding on our #13 on a crucial 3rd down---the black linesman killed us with spots and no calls!!!!!

I watched a replay of the game yesterday, and all I can say is WOW! Those guys were Ter-i-ble. We did catch a huge break on the Des reverse pass. Lee interfered big time. I also like the phantom interference call we got at the end when Des threw it to Aubry.

On the Des TD pass to Lee, I saw their feet tangle, which is incidental contact and not a penalty. At least that's what I saw and I'm sticking with it!!

Lee pushed off with his arm big time. Although, I will say we have been the victim of many call like that before. It about time we got a little home cooking!

Have not seen the replay, but realtime I thought he pushed off.

i totally forgot how bad they were. towards the end of the game, i was so happy we were gonna win, it just slipped my mind. anyway, my favorite was when our defender horse collared their guy around the four yd line. It was most def. a horse collar and the flag was warranted. however, the ref called unsportsmanlike conduct: late hit out of bounds. the guy was still running down the sideline when he grabbed him. its like they knew a flag needed to be thrown, but didnt know what to call. even though the penalty yards are the same, it really bothers me because it wasnt the right call. i cant stand incompetent officials.

From my point of view it did not look like he pushed off. It looked more like her just ran over the guy, no arms involved. Oh well, guess you can call that getting position.

What you dont see is on the replay is the defender holding on to Lee about a second earlier, the contact was initiated by the d-back, i was yelling at the game for defensive pass interference while the ball was in the air.

It could happen. Think Big. - RIP JKH

No way. I watched the replay last night. Their feet got tangled, the Blue Raider defender fell and Lee threw his left arm out to hold his balance, which, altogether in real time from the opposite side looked like a push off.

Then there is the kick-off touchdown run by Cherry that no one has mentioned that was called back due to an illegal block. I didn't see the replay but assume it was a valid call. That would have made the final score 49-28.

Watching the Ball State-Buffalo game last night almost made me grateful for SBC officials.

Ball State leading by three in the third quarter. Guy gets to the goal line just inside the pylon. Ball is in his right hand. They call him out of bounds at the half yard line. They review the play and it looks to everyone that the guy is in for the score.

Ruling on the field stands. Ball at half yard line. Two plays later, a fumble return for 92 yards gives Buffalo the lead.

Next possession. Receiver makes a diving catch. They call it a catch on the
field. Replays appear to be inconclusive.

They reverse the call. A few plays later, Buffalo returns another fumble for a touchdown.

    Wow.

If I'm not mistaken, there is no penalty for the horse collar tackle in college football. Also, the unsportsmanlike was very questionable since the contact and tackle were initiated inbounds so I find it hard to call the penalty in that case unless it is blatant and it didn't seem so.

The touchdown to Lee didn't seem like offensive interference once I saw it again. He didn't seem to use his arms to clear space which is typically what the official is looking for. It just seemed like they were bumping and the defender went down.
