NASA has rescheduled a launch date for a Falcon 9 rocket that will carry a University of Louisiana ... at Lafayette research project to the International Space Station.

Dr. Karl Hasenstein's biology experiment, to study how plants sense and react to gravity, will be transported to the space station as part of a resupply mission. It is scheduled to lift-off at 3:58 p.m. CDT on Monday, April 14 from Cape Canaveral, Fla.

Two previous launch dates – on March 16 and 30 – were postponed.

If all goes well with Monday’s launch, a capsule containing the research will be attached to the space station. The capsule is set to return to Earth on May 18, when it will splash down in the Pacific Ocean off California.
