UL Football Fenroy article - hometown paper

Good read with background and possible future plans for Fenroy. Watching him for 3 years in HS it was certain he would be a star @ UL and possible playing after college....

Good article....sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders. I wish nothing but the best for him this season and I hope that he gets his 4th consecutive 1K yard season. He may go down as the greatest FB player in Cajun history. Move over Jake, move over Mitchell.....Fenrow has arrived!!!!

Hopefully WHEN he makes it, he acknoledges his university that helped him get where he is. Unlike a former Cajun CB, now Pittsburgh Steeler.

If he gets another 1000-yard season, NO WAY he is going undrafted. Somebody will take a flyer on a back that has accumulated four 1000-yard seasons no matter what conference he is in.

I was working in Laplace and actually got to talk with a guy who coached Tyrell in high school. He told me that he's not surprised at the success he has had in the college level. He could see that he "had it" from day 1. He has a great work ethic and won't quit. He said he could see him being drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round if he has another successful season.

We really did get a great athlete and person in Tyrell when he signed a couple of years ago.
