Thread: Post Season Rivalry Continues

  1. UL Softball Post Season Rivalry Continues

Lady Cajuns headed to Tiger Town for regional as UL earns No. 2 seed in Baton Rouge Regional

Vanessa Soto experienced the UL-LSU softball rivalry from the Tiger perspective two years when the teams played each other in the Baton Rouge Regional.

Now there's a chance she will get to see it from the other side.

One day after winning their eighth Sun Belt Conference Tournament in nine years, the Ragin' Cajuns earned the No. 2 seed in the four-team Baton Rouge Regional, which runs Friday through Sunday. The 16th-ranked Cajuns (46-12) will play No. 3 seed East Carolina (36-28) in the first round of the double-elimination tournament at 4 p.m. Friday at Tiger Park.

I am off this weekend and I AM THERE!!!!!

This will be exciting and fun. I hope the Lady Cajuns gueaux out there and play their butts off like they have against alot of competition this year, especially Team USA. If they play to that level, they will make it to the World Series and I will be there this time in person.

That my friend will hopefully be the only day that matters as the Cajuns take down the rest of the field.
