Only Georgia St and UALR are undefeated in conference play so far. And we're the only team with 1 conference game so far.

Marlin talked about this the other night, we had a bye the first night of conference play. Then our game that should have been last night against Texas State was moved to Monday night because of a George Strait concert that ended up not happening. The basketball teams schedule is very similar to what happened in football with odd dates and byes.

We also have a bye to start the league schedule next season and go to ULM again for our 1st game. You would rather have a bye later in the year to rest up injuries. Scott Farmer and Coach Marlin have voiced concern to the league office about this but it has been to no avail. Looks like those folks who said to watch Ga. State in the league race were right. Their top player is the coach's son and is an NBA prospect.

UL basketball has had a long history of "raw deal" from the SBC offices.

Every time a new school was added they reset the schedules and sent UL to WKU. Now ULM picks up the WKU spoils?
