One of the better looking parking garages -my limited experience- has ever seen.

I would suspect that the construction fencing will be down in the next week or so. This job is just about done.

A view from the rear of Rougeou Hall. New Snack Hut is to the left and Fletcher Hall/Giradr park is to the rear.

A view from between Rougeou Hall at the Lewis Street end of the building.

A view of the entry/exit drive leading to Girard Park Drive.

This is a huge building. Photographs do not do it justice. Next group of photos will be from inside the building.

It is amazing to me how quickly it went up, when you consider how big of a structure it is.
I am also glad that they seem to have left room for the building(s) that will eventually flank Oliver Hall, so that they can then create a new, smaller 'Quad' area. After so many years of seeing just the remnants of McNaspy, it would be great to see this done in my lifetime, lol.

They took it down last week. They still have some up on the other side of the building.

Parking garage is finished. A few photos from the inside.

The Snack Hut is resurrected. Elana would be happy.

Covered walk between parking garage and Rougeau Hall.

    Cavernous ramp between levels.

Sixth level showing the top of the north east stairwell and elevator.

UP ramp to the sixth level.

LED light fixture and a punch list item. These lights are all over the structure.

I saw a few minor punch list items however, this job is done.

I wanted to post this article from the Advocate which I thought was pretty nice. If it was posted elsewhere, sorry about that.

Not sure if anyone had posted the signage: I like that they are carrying on names of the destructed buildings.

A few photos of the finished parking garage.

As seen from the Girard Park facade of Oliver Hall

Very nice walkway between Rougeou Hall and the Parking garage. While both Rougeou Hall and the Parking garage are big the landscaping and scale of the walkway make the area very inviting. If you are out of town you must go by this area of campus next time you are in Lafayette it has be transformed nicely.

A new entry plaza for the Girard Park side of Oliver Hall. I suspect this is the beginning of a new quad in this area.

A view of the new entry plaza to Oliver hall as seen from the top of the parking garage.
