KNOXVILLE -- Tennessee's basketball team completes the school's busiest November in history by hosting the Ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana Lafayette at 7:30 p.m., Friday in a game that will be televised on Sports South.

"Not many teams in then nation have played as many games as we have,'' noted Vol coach Bruce Pearl of his team's seven games already during the month. Four were in the StubHub Legends Classic, in which the Vols finished second to No. 8 Texas. It will be the team's eighth game in November. The previous record was seven games.

Tennessee, ranked No. 11 nationally, will play the 1-3 Sunbelt Conference team Friday night, then hit the road for all but one game in the month of December. The only remaining home game in December will be Dec. 19 against UNC-Asheville. Other games in December will be at Chattanooga on Dec. 4, against Western Kentucky in Nashville on Dec. 15, at Xavier in Cincinnati on Dec. 22, and against Gonzaga in Seattle on Dec. 29. They will then take a break until hosting Ole Miss in their SEC opener on Jan. 9.

The Ragin' Cajuns fell to 1-3 on the season with a 78-72 overtime loss to UAB Tuesday night in Lafayette, La.

The loss was the third in a row for the Cajuns. Each loss has been by nine points or less. Other losses have been to Louisiana Tech, 64-56 and Oral Roberts, 62-53. The win was over North Alabama, 79-67.
