UL Message Board Links

I was checking out the South Carolina message boards. The only good board I found is a Rivals Insider Board. You can read but not participate unless you are a Rivals member for an annual fee. There is a thread on UL and if we have any message boards that they can access. There were some erroneous web sites posted. Can someone who is a Rivals member check that out and let them know where to go? The web site is GamecockCentral.com.

Each week we will face this with each opposing team. Any chance of the Athletic Dept. Website having these links posted? It is great to be able to interact with other teams, but people need to know how to access our sites. I believe these are correct but can certainly be changed if incorrect or added to if I missed anything.

I would think that the school, or any organization for that matter, would want to keep itself distant from promoting anything like a message board that is run by the public and consists of thoughts and opinions it can't control. There are moderators on this board and all others who monitor content, but if the school endorsed Raginpagin, for example, it would have to have somebody on the sight at all times monitoring what is said to make sure that there is nothing that would conflict with UL's stance, thoughts, opinions, etc in the event that there is any type of legal action for anything.

A good example may be some of the athlete's parents who come to the site. I am not sure how it would be recieved by the NCAA if UL endorsed this site, and then the parents of recruits came to the sight to talk about the school and stuff. Just like the coaches have restrictions on the recruits, it is illegal for fans/supporters of schools to contact or communicate with recruits (or so i've heard).

By the way, do yo uhave a link to that SC site? What kinds of stuff were they saying about us and the game?

No can do by the official athletic websites. Something about NCAA rules. At least, that's what we at Geauxcowboys.com were told by our Athletic Department years ago.

The UL site opens with the UL Fight Song, has prior articles, pictures, interviews, schedule, roster, etc. It is really pretty good. My only complaint is that the link should be prominently displayed in the Sports Section. It is too hard to find unless you are specifically looking for it.
