Luc + Peanut = Top Notch in every sense of the word. Blessed to have men such as these guys representing our University as alumni. Makes me proud!

It was mentioned on MLB Network that Lucroy is rated #1 in framing pitches.

If the catcher (Lucroy) positions his body in front of the delivery of the pitch, the ump might only see the glove position after the frame, thus strike three.....

I think the ump shouldnt worry about stats and just see the ball..... I stand corrected, i guess it works, but poor umpiring imvho. Agree to disagree http://www.cleveland.com/tribe/index...nager_ton.html

Anyone who does not have this game on needs to put it on immediately. We could be watching history for the US tonight.

Well the no hitter was broken up in the T7 by the 1st batter of the inning. I was sure hoping to see a no-no tonight with Lucroy behind the plate.

Really enjoyed the tournament. It definitely helps when the USA is in it. At the start I thought the US starting pitchers may not have been enough to get them over the hump against the top teams, but that ended up being one of the strongest areas for them. Stroman was amazing last night on the biggest stage.

Luc had a very solid tournament. Hit safely in all but his first game vs the DR. He and Posey were about even all tournament in terms of hitting, so the rotation worked out well. Glad it fell to Luc to catch the championship
