MOBILE, Ala. - The last time the Sun Belt Conference got only one baseball team into the NCAA Tournament was back in 1987. That was four years before the league and the old American South Conference consolidated and UL became a Sun Belt member.

Some of the league's coaches are concerned that 18-year streak may come to an end this season, if the Ragin' Cajuns follow up their regular-season title with the tournament crown. The tournament winner earns the league's automatic NCAA bid.

UL was 13th and no other league teams were in the top 45 in last week's NCAA Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) listing, with Troy standing 48th. The updated RPI will be released today, but Troy figures to drop after losing two of three games at South Alabama in the final weekend.
