Wilson was great today! That's a huge weapon to have: a guy batting over .300, a good field player, and a guy capable of going 9 innings. This ball club is looking very good.

Firing on all cylinders. Fun to watch. I think Dregg's system is working great. Back to back homers followed by back to back bunts for hits. ULM didn't know what was coming. Strentz got hit again. Glad it hit his helmet.

There were some big league defensive plays tonight in the infield and one by the centerfielder.

Those back to back bunts after the homers were amazing and affirmed that I know nothing about baseball strategy. I can't say I've ever seen back to bake home runs followed by back to back bunt singles. Maybe one was to move the run.........I quit. It was cool to watch.

This offense is reminding me of the days when wade was running the offense. Home runs, bunts, double steals, squeeze, hit and run....only thing Deggs hasn't don't is steal home...yet this team is very athletic and has so many dimensions.

We did make them look like a less skilled team in all areas. Very strong defense. Blake has a serious arm, glove and range. Sam made a couple of gems at 3rd and we are solid everywhere. Surely the best defense and offense in a long, long time.

I was so upset when that pitcher threw Mike inside and hit him in the head. I wanted to charge the mound. That pitcher knew he was just coming back from being hurt.

Strentz has been hit at least 6 times so far this year.

Mike HBP 7 times so far. Next closest is Compton with 5 then nobody with more than 2.

I don't think that pitcher had enough control to aim at his head and hit it.

Deggs should be named coach in waiting, with the stipulation that Tony retire after his son has expired his eligibility.

How about Tony retires when he wants (assuming we don't have like multiple consecutive losing seasons)

Because since the CWS run Tony has under achieved, even by his own standards.
