    Default Why Four Workouts a Week May Be Better Than Six

    A common concern about exercise is that if you don't do it almost every day, you won't achieve much health benefit. But a commendable new study suggests otherwise, showing that a fairly leisurely approach to scheduling workouts may actually be more beneficial than working out almost daily.

    I always take a leisurely approach to workouts. I read somewhere that you have to let your muscles rest in order to build more muscle. I let mine rest most everyday but don't seem to have any muscle growth. Maybe it only works for some folks.

    1. Your body has to have time to recover.
    2. If you work out too much, you are more prone to quit working out completely because you get tired of doing it.
    3. Any kind of work out be it 1,2,3, or 4 days a week is better than none at all.

    4. 4 times a week puts the right jiggle in your thong wiggle.
    5. 5 times a week is in between 4 times and 6 times.
    6. 6 times a week causes floss chafing.

    So it's better to do 12 ounce curls on 4 days a week instead of 6?

    Cross train. 12 ounce most of the time but occasionally mix in high a rep 7 oz set or a low number of reps using "tall boys".
