They're in their first full week away from Sun Belt Conference activity, and boy, does UL's men's basketball squad need it.

The Ragin' Cajuns don't play a mid-week game for the first time since late December, and the break comes at a good time, with UL having lost five of its last six games. It also can't hurt that the Cajuns are prepping for a rivalry game Saturday when they host New Orleans.

The brief respite follows a disappointing 71-59 loss at Middle Tennessee Saturday, the Cajuns' 11th straight road loss this season.

"We had a lot of little things that we didn't do well," said Cajun coach Robert Lee of the MT game. "It's little plays that make a difference for us because our margin for error is very slim with the makeup of this team."
