No. Peanut is a Texas boy, from down around Corpus Christi. This Tillman is from Mississippi.

Technically, Peanut and his family are from Chicago (born there). he only ended up in Texas (fort hood) due to his father being in the military. I know thats not Mississippi, but just saying

In any event another cornerback named Tillman is a great sign though!

Now that is pretty cool that he wound up as a BEAR! That may also explain some of the extra things he does for the city although the biggest reason is HE IS A MAN! (and that is not a gender slam ladies)

I'm pretty sure Peanut was a Safety in college and moved to CB at the pro level.....just sayin.

He may have played safety shortly when he had a broken arm, not even sure about that but he was a CB

What hype? The only hype in this thread has been people wondering if he was any relation to Peanut, which he is not.

Peanut played both CB and S here at UL. A good part of his Sr. year he played S due to a need at that position.

So what kind of nut can we call this kid?

    Cashew?
    Almond?
    Macadamia?
    Brazil Nut?

He's obviously going to need a nut-themed moniker.

I don't hold that against him.

  20. Default Landor, Tillman leaving Cajuns

Reserve quarterback D’Shaie Landor and reserve cornerback Cedrick Tillman both are leaving the program and transferring to schools elsewhere, UL coach Mark Hudspeth said Monday.

Landor, a Teurlings Catholic product, played sparingly as a redshirt freshman in 2013 and went into the Ragin’ Cajuns’ New Orleans Bowl win over Tulane last month as its No. 4 QB behind starter Terrance Broadway and fellow reserves Jalen Nixon and Brooks Haack.
