The University of Louisiana invites Ragin' Cajuns® fans to get geared up for the fall with a daily contest.

Beginning Aug. 6, the Geared Up Giveaway, sponsored by the University of Louisiana Wear Red program, offers chances to win prizes, such as T-shirts, hats, mugs, autographed footballs and even pre-game field passes.

To enter, fans should "like" the University's official Facebook page ... click the Geared Up Giveaway button and follow the instructions.

To enter by paper form, fans can stop by University Bookstore on McKinley Street on campus. They can also complete an entry form at the new Ragin' Cajuns® Red Zone team shop when it opens on the corner of Johnston Street and E. Lewis Street later this month.

Prizes will be drawn daily August 6th through September 21st. Winners' names will be posted to Facebook. A full list of rules is available at University's Official Facebook page.


The University of Louisiana's Wear Red program encourages students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans to support the university by wearing red every Friday. It also sponsors special events and programs each year to help fans celebrate being a part of the university and its unique culture and history.
