    Default Cajun Apparel

I have seen the attached shirt around, both in white with red stripes and vice versa (even black with red stripes), and saw it on several folks at the game on saturday (disregard the fact it is a Clemson shirt). Living in Houston, I can't find any RC gear here and was wondering where in Lafayette to find a shirt like that. I'd like to call the establishment and order one or have one of my family pick it up and mail it to me. Any Clues???

I saw one over at the baseball field before the NC A&T game, I guess that is the bookstore that sets up over there.

Bell's is out. Went about a week ago. The guy said they should get some more in before homecoming. LA Hot Stuff had nothing! Haven't been in the UL Bookstore in a while, since I'm barely on campus. I'll go check it out when I get a chance.

Agreed. Nike comes out with that sort of shirt every year or so, or however the fashion seasons run. They can/do sell those things for $60 a pop. I love 'em. they're extremely comfortable. I'd buy one every year and buy mroe than that if they offered other styles. Money being missed out on by the University.

The new RaginCajuns.com site will have an on line store for Ragin' Cajun merchandise. Hopefully they will have a good selection.

    That will be nice.

I hope UL continues to support the retailers who in effect provide a free commercial.

When is that supposed to be up? I hope the shopping link isn't a link to the bookstore's site. While their real selection is pretty good, if not the best, their virtual selection sucks. You certainly can't get a good idea of their selection by looking at their website.

I saw that exact shirt 10 minutes ago at the UL Bookstore. I think they were priced at $39.95. They had red, white and black.

I saw these being sold by the UL bookstore before the EMU game over by the baseball box office. they don't have their whole selection online, and they don't have a true online store (you have to call). I don't think they have figured out that the people that want and can afford a $60 shirt are not walking around campus. My wife loves to surprise me with this kind of stuff, but they do a pretty poor job of making it available to her.

We pass through town often but the bookstore is always closed. Hot Stuff is open on Sundays but we have been disappointed with the apparel selection.

Looking forward to a real online store with an extensive selection from major vendors. I did pick up a nice dry-fit shirt from Russell at the game. Saw a Nike as well but it was white (chili dog magnet).

The sad thing is that I bought one at Bell's Sporting Goods just before the start of the season. FYI... don't put a hot iron to it... I melted the material right off the collar. 2 dumb moves... a) it really doesn't need to be ironed, b) it ain't cotton, and "hot" melts nylon (or whatever that was). Thank goodness I bought a couple of other nice Ragin Cajun shirts. Bell's has an excellent selection of UL gear.

I know for a fact that Bell's has them. A friend of mine has a couple of them. Bell's always has the "nice" UL stuff. Most other places like Academy, etc. have junk that no one wants. THE PROBLEM is that like the bookstore, Bell's is only open when people who work (have money to buy nice stuff) are at work. I think on Saturday's they close at 12 or so, weekdays like 5?? I am thinking about trying to go this Saturday morning since there is no game. I wish it was easier to shop there.

Where exactly is Bell's? I might try to go by there on the Friday before Homecoming! I will try to come into Lafayette early that weekend.

Don't forget about Kohl's. They don't have a huge selection but I was able to pick up a nice pull over sweater for half price last Friday.
