He's been a player for the Ragin' Cajuns.

Awesome. Heard him on some high school games and he was great.
This is awesome!
It could happen. Think Big. - RIP JKH
The HOFF approves.

I'm really liking these additions with a sideline reporter and a 2 hour pregame. Makes the broadcasts have a "big time" feel to them. Good job guys.
Now bring on "DESSERT" ----We need a post game show that could even take place at Deanos or a large area where call-ins and fans in the place of venue can ask questions and participate!!! With the IPF maybe we could have a party with food and drinks post game!!!! Be thinking guys!!!!! Oh and congrats G on the gig---Enjoy post coaching life----It gets easier with each year----You have been so loved and respected by the Ragin' Cajun world---My wife loved the support that your mom always showed---Well enjoy and ---CALL US MUCHO WINS!!!!
Very nice addition and improvement by the radio network!
very cool!!!
Jay, hire Boomer for the post game show.
It's my opinion. You might agree. You might not. It might hurt your feelings or offend your sensibilities. Too bad. You don't have to like me. I don't have to like you. We don't need to be drinking buddies. That's the greatness of America. At least it used to be.
I like how Jay wrote the release, and thus is referring to himself in the third person the whole time (and yes I know its a press release and not a blog)
1420 is just full of surprises this summer. New afternoon times, special guest co-hosts, Pat Murphy yesterday and now this
Coach Broussard is the man!!! Great addition on all levels.
This is really exciting news. Just great to have Coach Broussard supplying some color and knowledge. Hope he can contain himself, lol.
More and more good things are happening for UL football!
I also applaud the move of bringing Coach Broussard into the radio booth. I bet you will have more people listening while watching the team from the Cajun Field stands. I wonder if KPEL will consider adding a color guy back to basketball broadcasts. I really think the 2nd person adds something to understanding what is going on as he can make observations which the play by play guy may miss. I know it is a matter of cost and perhaps it will be more of a consideration once the team returns to it's winning ways.
Never heard of him.

I'm pumped for the 2 hour pregame. Always thought 30 minute pregame was way too little.
