I love Christi and voted for her in this instance, but for a large part of the season this year Nerissa Myers was the major component of the softball team. She also happened to be a third team All American along with Katie Smith. Any other All Americans on campus.....................

I think Ashley Brignac should be Student Athelte of the year with her academic accomplishments as well as coming back from her injury and having to adjust her pitching style.

Orgeron and Myers are probably tied for female athlete of the year, but the softball team had so many great performers...

Well I will surprise you with the best Male athlete first---That would be Lenord Klienpeter---Football all conference and drafted by the pros------track all conference and lettered forever----baseball all conference and 4 year letterman!!!! There have been some football/track guys but to do all 3 on the college level and to be as good as he was---That is athleticism!!!!
