The Ragin’ Cajuns golf team battled tough conditions to rise to fifth place after day one of the Sun Belt Golf Championship at the Shoals Golf Course on Monday afternoon.

After Nine holes, the Cajun Golf Team has moved into sole possession of third place at -1. Lots of ground to gain to move into 2nd, but so for, this is a great start!!

Phillip and Andrew are both heating up and making birdies and Brandt is still playing strong, Cajuns in 3rd place and now only 6 strokes from second. Looking good.

Bad news is North TX is also having a good day.

The team Champion goes to the NCAA's and they also take the top finishers, as individuals, but not sure the criteria.
