Michael Watts has to be in the discussion.

BTW, that Ankiel throw is for sissies. Now Elway his sophomore year at Stanford ... gunning down a runner tagging from third base ... from the outfield wall ... that is a throw.

Oh, wait...and it was a chest high strike. Guess he didn't want the catcher to have to bend down.

i love how the 3rd base coach didn't even begin to think about sending the runner.

Amazing throw. 300 feet and it lands in the perfect spot

I disagree, Dude was drafted into the majors as a Pitcher for the st. louis cardinals and was a HUGE prospect. He has a very strong arm and this is very possible. Don't hate on this guy cause you cant do it...

Yeah it was a nice throw but I bet I could out-pitch him from 60' 6".

We had a guy named Landry back in the late 90s that threw out 3 runners from deep right field that attempted to tag up and steal 3rd on deep fly balls... UL against LSU. The funny thing in the Advocate the next day was that Landry had never up to that point thrown anyone out on a deep ball. I was at the game near the 3rd base side and they were rocket balls that were perfectly thrown strikes from right field.
