Right, noone cares about NASCAR. Talladega will only have 180,000+ fans. About 165,000 more than what UL averages for a football game. But, noone cares about NASCAR.

FOX and NBC fighting over airtime but, nonone cares about NASCAR.

By using that logic discussing NASCAR only on Friday means that it takes up 20% of the broadcast week. Monday through Thursday (80%) is spent on other subjects. Thursday is spent entirely on LSU another full 20% of the broadcast week. Today the topic of the first caller was BASEBALL for God Sakes. Stevie P., and Kevin go on and on and on and on and on and on and on about baseball all the time. If you want to discuss baseball or anything else then listen to their show. At least Bil is trying to do something DIFFERENT and trying to educate himself on auto racing. NASCAR, being a fairly elementary form of racing is the easiest form of racing to start off trying to understand and follow. Stevie P., Kevin and Jay know absolutely nothing about auto racing of any kind and that's why they don't talk about it. Occasionally the auto racing topic pops up on Jays' show AND GUESS WHAT, you get people calling in that you never hear from at any other time. While I don't follow NASCAR closely, I am an auto racing fan (mostly Formula 1, CHAMP CAR and Sprts Car Racing) I am glad to have something different on the radio. Thank God for Speed Channel from the Super Bowl to the start of Football in August.

As long as they aren't talking about LSU, then they can talk about whatever they want. Although LSU fans will more than likely associate with NASCAR more than any other sport.
