	Basket Ball
	The town girls have organized their basket ball team. The meeting was held on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1908. The following officers were elected: Captain, Lillian Guilbeau; business manager, Hinda Schmulen; editor, Alice Moss; assistant editor, Paola Mouton. It was decided upon gold as their color. The girls are very enthusiastic and intend to work hard and make their team equal to play any other in school. To the boys at the basket ball game n Friday last; We, the girls of the Town Basket Ball Team, want to thank you for so kindly donating the gate receipts to our Town Team fund.
