    GRAND INTERSCHOLASTIC
    MEET AT INSTITUTE

...at four o'clock a championship baseball game will take place between the teams of the Lake Charles High School and the Industrial Institute. The Lake Charles boys beat the Institute last Thanksgiving day at football, so we are wishing our boys better luck today at baseball. The girls too, are in it; for at the same time that the base ball is going on the Lake Charles High School Basket Ball Team will be playing for the championship with the Industrial Institute girls. Naturally, we are betting on the Institute girls. To be the umpire of this contest Miss Clara G. Baer, Director of the Gymnasium in Newcomb College, in New Orleans is expected. At the same time also there will be a championship contest in tennis going on in the two double courts adjoining the basketball court.
