Louisiana Football Minnesota vs Arkansas (Music City Bowl)

It was interesting to watch two opponents from this years schedule go at it head to head.

Minnesota won 29-14

No doubt about it Louisiana had one of the toughest schedules in the country. 3 wins is a huge improvement over last year.

North Texas: New Orleans Bowl
Minnesota: Music City Bowl
Arkansas: Music City Bowl
Louisiana State: Cotton Bowl
Texas A&M: Top 25 (when game played)
New Mexico State: Bowl eligible

Minnesota kicker Big Ten's all-time leading scorer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Dan Nystrom tied an NCAA record by kicking five field goals as Minnesota upset Arkansas 29-14 Monday in the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl for the Golden Gophers' first bowl victory since 1985.

The Gophers (8-5) had lost three straight bowls since beating Clemson in the 1985 Independence Bowl. They came into the game having blown their best start since 1961 by losing their final four games of the regular season and finishing seventh in the Big Ten.
